St. John's Vestry CBSE School is located in Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu and run by the CSI Tiruchy-Thanjavur Diocese.
The school was established in 2019 by The Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. D. Chandrasekaran, Sixth Bishop of CSI Trichy-Tanjore Diocese.
It was a humble beginning with 50 students from classes Pre-KG to VI.
Today the school has classes up to 8th standard with under the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
Theoretical and practical classes are offered to have a life centered approach in learning, with a library & dedicated labs for science, mathematics, computer science, the school is well equipped to deliver a comprehensive learning experience.
In addition to academics, the students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, L&D, Social awareness campaigns/activities conducted by the school.
This aims to nurture the young minds in challenging the conventional thinking, develop the spirit of sportsmanship and mold them in to future leaders and stalwarts
The CSI Tiruchirappalli Thanjavur Diocese
The diocese has 52 primary schools, 2 high schools, 17 higher secondary schools (including St.Peter's Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur, which taught English to Indians for the first time in India since 1784, St.John's Vestry Higher Secondary School and Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School, Teppakulam, Tiruchirappalli in education service since 1763 and 1762 respectively), 2 nursing schools, 1 industrial training centre and 5 colleges specialised in Arts & Science, Management, Nursing & Community Welfare (including Bishop Thorp College, Dharapuram, the first self-financing college in Tamil Nadu State). All institutions of this diocese are religious minority educational institutions. These institutions are some of the earliest institutions of the Tamil Nadu state started by the then missionaries with a highly dedicated sacrifice and a vision of super quality education in the area wherever they are located. Most of these institutions are residential.
